And we're off!!

While others were getting ready for a lovely Thanksgiving, we were busy trying to get all the winter clothes we need in one checked bag each and all our camera gear in one carry on each – but we did it!

 

As it turns out it’s great traveling on Thanksgiving day… everyone else is already at their destination.  We’ve never seen a BART station so empty!

  

 

 

We expected it to be warmer in Buenos Aires, but isn’t supposed to be colder at the most southern tip of Argentina!

The airport was almost as empty as the BART station; we might get use to this traveling on Thanksgiving.

Our airplane had the coolest windows – electronic shades – you adjust the darkness

 

 

The down-side to traveling on Thanksgiving… this was our dinner…
